PETER MALKIN spent his early childhood in Poland, then immigrated to Palestine before the German invasion of his homeland. By the age of twelve he was in the Jewish underground and had participated in clandestine operations against the occupying British forces. Later he joined the Mossad, Israel's intelligence service, where he became a specialist in covert activities. In addition to his security work, he has also distinguished himself in the arts. A gifted artist as well as a writer - he is the author of five books - he has seen his paintings exhibited throughout Europe and Israel.
