Games and Stunts for your Parties 24 pages - Copyright 1930 by Dennison Manufacturing Co.
This is over 70 years old! If you want to know what you grandparents or great-grandparents did when they were young to have fun at parties - take a look inside! Its pretty cute with a nostalgic look back in time. I'm also showing the index page. This shows obvious signs of age with tattered corners and little rips and folds along some edges, and pages coming apart from binding staples, but doesn't take away from the cuteness of the piece.
Example: Zeppelin. This is an ice breaker, and a good one to start with, for it requires considerable moving about without being in the least strenuous. The guests are informed that they are to have the delightful experience of crossing the ocean by Zeppelin (obviously before the Hindenburg disaster), but that each passenger can carry only five ponds of baggage. They are given five minutes to get their baggage together, the point being for each passenger to gather what he estimates to be an exact five pounds. All movable goods about the house (first floor) are available, provided a use for them during the voyage can be suggested. .... |
