Shane Hahn (from the Berger Plant) was my Grandfather. My Mom
has a picture
similar to this one, but we never had this booklet. Grandpa
started at Berger in
1927, after working in the coal mines from age 15. Sixth grade
education but
worked himself up to General Foreman by the time he retired in 1966.
Married
Leora Campbell (1898-1979). Had one son Ernest (killed in
the Battle of the Bulge),
& one daughter Shirley (my Mom). Lived in Malvern, Ohio most
of his life. Born in
1901 & passed away in 1980.
