is a Liotta family picnic, at the same time as the unidentified picture
I sent. Taken 1930s. The family of Santa Margherita di Belice and Bushwick,
Brooklyn.
The people in
the picture are (from Left) Paule "Jaye" Pero, Maria and
husband Giuseppe "Uncle Joe" Liotta, next to his sister Vita
Liotta Giovinco, next her and Joe's other sister, Rose Liotta Calandra
next to her husband Vincenzo Calandra with daughters Katherine
"Kaye" Carvey and Frita Milito. Vita Liotta Giovinco is my
great grandfather.

They are all the first generation born here, their parents were from Menfi or
Santa Margherita di Belice. |
